If you are a fan of Indian sweets, make this delicious coconut barfi at home in five easy steps:
Blend 2 cups of grated fresh coconut and 1/2 cup milk into a slightly coarse puree.
Pour the puree in a non-stick pan. Add 1 and 1/2 cup sugar and stir consistently.
Cook the mixture until it thickens. Add 1 tablespoon ghee and 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom powder and keep mixing.
After it starts to leave the sides of the pan, transfer the mixture to a plate and let it cool.
Once it is cooled, cut it into squares and serve.
