Spinach is loaded with various nutrients. This easy-to-make spinach soup is a must-try this winter season.
Heat some oil in a pot on medium flame and saute 2 finely chopped garlic cloves and 1/2 cup sliced onions until they soften.
Add 2 bunches of spinach, 1 bay leaf, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and about 1/4 cup of water. Cover the lid and cook until the spinach wilts. Remove from flame and let it cool.
Remove the bay leaf from the pot and add 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth.
Place the spinach mixture back on flame and let it simmer on low flame. Add 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1/2 cup milk and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and pour the soup into bowls. Top it with cream and serve!
