How to Make Crispy Peanut Tikki

Prepare Mixture  

In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes with coarsely ground peanuts.

Add Spices  

Sprinkle in red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder and a pinch of asafoetida (hing).

Shape

Divide the mixture into portions and shape them into flat tikki.

Fry  

Shallow fry the tikkis in a pan over medium heat, cooking each side for three to four minutes until golden brown.
