Combine all ingredients (one grated zucchini, one chopped onion, half tsp salt, half tsp chilli powder, one tsp chaat masala and six tbsp gram flour) in a bowl to form a batter and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan to around 170 degrees Celsius for deep frying.
Drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil and fry for two to four minutes, turning halfway.
Fry until the pakoras are golden and crispy.
Enjoy with your favourite chutney or ketchup.
