Collect whole wheat flour (atta), baking powder, salt, sugar, butter, and milk.
In a mixing bowl, combine the atta, baking powder and salt. Add melted butter and sugar, then mix until crumbly. Gradually add milk to form a smooth dough.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to shape the biscuits and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
The biscuits should be golden brown after 12 to 15 minutes of baking in a preheated oven. Watch them so they don't overbake.
Once baked, remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack. Enjoy them warm or store them in an airtight container for later.
