We are no experts here if you’re a woman and are feeling irritated and moody lately and have crossed 35 years of age, then this is for you.
When a woman is born, she already has all of her eggs. As our eggs reduce with age, so do levels of estrogen and progesterone. This is perimenopause, and you can begin to notice changes in your body, as early as 35.
How to identify Perimenopause?
Less-known symptoms include debilitating fatigue, brain fog, unexplained weight gain, depression, panic attacks, decreased libido, dry skin, hair loss, digestive issues, vertigo, dizziness, heart palpitations, joint pain, and itching/crawling sensations on the skin.
For some, it could also start with a pain in one of the shoulders or both.
As and when you notice these symptoms, get to a doctor or a health expert and consult. Tell them your problems and ask if it's related to hormones in the body.
