In a shocking turn of events, actor Johnny Wactor was fatally shot in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 25) during a suspected robbery.

Wactor's mother told TMZ that the actor did not fight back with the suspects, still, they shot him.

Born in 1986 in South Carolina, Johnny was known for his role in ABC's General Hospital.

In the daily soap, he played the role of Brando Corbin, who was married to drug addict Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).

In his short-lived career, the actor has appeared in guest roles on numerous American television shows such as The OA, Westworld, and Criminal Minds.

The actor has appeared in films like USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, Ever, Supercell, Trapper’s Edge and Dead Talk Tales: Volume I.
