Jonathan Majors  Fired from MCU:  What Happens Now?

Marvel Studios has cut ties with Jonathan Majors post-conviction for assaulting ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Renowned for his role as Kang in Loki, Majors was a key figure in Marvel’s Phase Five, set to mirror Thanos’ role in Avengers: Endgame.

Majors, reprising Kang, was going to be central in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which is now uncertain due to contract termination.

Disney remains tight-lipped on recasting Kang or altering the storyline, with screenwriter Michael Waldron overhauling The Kang Dynasty.

To salvage the MCU, Marvel must navigate Majors’ departure strategically, considering recasting, storyline adjustments, and public relations measures.

Marvel’s response will shape Phase Five’s trajectory, influencing fan reception of future MCU projects.

MCU had been in hot water already after the high of Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

If we are being generous, MCU’s journey post Avengers: Endgame can be called mediocre. Many movies and shows have been panned by critics and audiences.

The cash cow that was MCU could no longer be relied upon to deliver.
