Park Soo Ryun, 29, known for her performance in K-drama Snowdrop, died on Sunday (June 11) after she fell down a flight of stairs on her way home. Her demise adds to a growing list of Korean stars who died young.
Moonbin, a member of the K-pop group ASTRO, was found dead at his home in April this year. He was 25.
In that very month (April 2023), Zombie Detective actress Jung Chae-yull was found dead at her home. She was 27.

Choi Jin-ri, better known by her stage name Sulli, died in October, 2019 by a likely suicide at the age of 25.
Also known as just Hara, Goo Hara, a K-pop singer, died at just 28 in November 2019. Her death was also ruled "possible suicide".
K-pop star Jonghyun, who was a member of music act Shinee, died by suicide in December 2017 at the age of 27.
