Talking about the interview, Vogue wrote on Instagram, "Her first interview in two decades sees her reflect on her special connection with her mother, her love for cinema, and her commitment to being the best version of herself."

The exquisite clothing worn by Rekha was designed by renowned Bollywood fashion designer Manish Malhotra, whom she affectionately refers to as a "wise, patient pujari." Rekha expressed her gratitude for his dedicated efforts.
