In a shocking turn of events, actress Suhani Bhatnagar passed away, reports said on Saturday, February 17.
Suhani, who played the role of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s Dangal passed away at the age of 19.
Suhani was undergoing treatment at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Hours after the news of her death broke, Suhani’s parents revealed that their daughter was suffering from an autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis.
Suhani’s father said that around two months back, Suhani developed swelling in her hands, and after a lot of checkups she was diagnosed with a rare disease.
Suhani Bhatnagar rose to stardom after playing the role of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan starrer Dangal.
After Dangal, Suhani took a break from acting to focus on her studies and was living in Faridabad with her family.
For her prolific performance in Dangal, Suhani had garnered rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
