Directed by R Balki, the film Cheeni Kum, released in 2007 shows an unusual love story of Buddha and Nina played by Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu – starts over a Hyderabadi Biryani that eventually culminates into a marriage. Bachchan played a chef in the film.
A Mahesh Bhatt directorial Duplicate, released in 1998, the film starred Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles among which one of his characters Bablu Chaudhary is a chef while Manu is a criminal. It was one of those films where we saw King Khan donning the chef’s cap!
