The 1975 Cricket World Cup final was played at Lord's, London. The West Indies won the match by 17 runs against Australia under the leadership of Clive Lloyd.

  The 1979 World Cup final was once again   won by the West Indies. They defeated     England by 92 runs to lift the trophy.

         India (1983), Kapil Dev

The 1983 Cricket World Cup final was played between India and the West Indies. India, playing in their first final, defeated the West Indies to claim their first World Cup title under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.

The 1996 ICC Cricket World Cup final was played on 17 March 1996 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium in Pakistan and Sri Lanka emerged as the winner. The match was contested between Australia and Sri Lanka.

The 2003 Cricket World Cup final was won by Australia. The match was played between India and defending champions Australia. It was their fifth World Cup final, while for India it was the second after their 1983 victory.

The 2019 Cricket World Cup final was played at Lord's in London, England. It was contested between England and New Zealand. England won the match by 119 runs.
