Rohit Sharma's 264 remains the highest individual score in ODIs. Thus, it is one of the most iconic records in world cricket, let alone in Indian cricket.

Virat Kohli has most tons in ODIs (50). This record further raised the stature of Indian cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar tops the list of most runs in ODI cricket (18,426). This is an iconic feat in world cricket, not only in Indian cricket.

MS Dhoni is the only Indian captain to win all multi-nation and ICC events in the 50-over format, including ODI World Cup, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup, CB Series, Celkon Cup Tri-series.

Tendulkar tops the overall list with most matches in ODIs (463). This iconic record seems highly unlikely to be broken by any player.

Anil Kumble's 334 wickets is the most by an Indian in ODIs. This iconic feat will remain unbreakable for years in Indian cricket with no active player in the top 5.
