A fierce encounter is underway in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district between security forces and terrorists.
Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists have been killed in the encounter. One civilian is has also lost his life, according to PTI.
One of the terrorists has been identified as Jahangir Ahamd Ganaie of the LeT.

The CRPF further said that there is unconfirmed presence of four-five terrorists in Pulwama's Padgampora area, according to ANI. The terrorists are holed up inside a house.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Padgampora viallge of Pulwama around 2.30am after getting tipped-off about the presence of terrorists in the area, PTI reported quoting a police official.
The train service between Banihal and Srinagar has been suspended as one of the stations on the route is close to the encounter site.

The encounter comes a few days after a fierce gunfight took place in Tral of Pulwama district where security forces killed two Hizbul militants. One policeman was killed and three soldiers were injured in the gunfight.
