A civilian was killed by security forces'firing pelletsamid clashes withprotestersin south Kashmir's Pulwama district in theKakapora area Thursday, Greater Kashmir reports.
An official said the man who died, Touseef Ahmad Wani from the district's Tengpuna village, sustained multiple pellet injuries.
He was brought to the hospital, but was declared dead by the time he arrived.

The Greater Kashmir referenced above reports that youth had taken to the streets after three militants were killed earlier in a gunfight.
The Kashmir Reader reports that the youth were attending the funeral of the militants killed earlier. They also say two militants died, not three.
