Watch: Sikh man wakes up Muslim neighbours for Sehri in Jammu and Kashmir

Unrest-gripped Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir is in being talked about for a completely different reason. A video clip from the region, showing a Sikh man beating drums and waking his Muslims neighbours for Sehri, is going viral. 

The 21-second video clip features an unidentified old Sikh man who is urging Muslims to wake up and start their fasting.

"Those who are loved by Allah, his messengers, those who seek paradise, wake up to start your fast," the man shouts.

The heart-warming incident of communal harmony from the valley is being lauded by netizens from all across the country.

Usually, a person from the Muslim community takes up the task of waking up others for Sehri (the pre-fasting meal that is consumed before dawn). The Seharkhwaan beat drums and go around waking up Muslims for Sehri and prayers.
