NEW DELHI
A head nurse at a hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., caused a brief scare on Thursday when she fainted shortly after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTechâs COVID-19 vaccine, according to reports.
Nurse manager Tiffany Dover had been giving a press briefing from CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, about her team being among the first to be given the COVID-19 vaccinations.
Dover was happily answering questions when she suddenly started trailing off.
However, according to news agency AFP, Tiffany Dover said that she has a history of passing out.
âI have a history of having an overactive vagal response, and so with that, if I have pain from anything -- hangnail, or if I stub a toe, I can just pass out,â Tiffany Dover said, according to a video from the WRCB Chattanooga TV channel.
âI have passed out probably six times in the past six weeks... itâs common for me,â Dover said.
