US President Donald Trump arrived in Windsor Castle to meet Queen Elizabeth II, after holding bilateral talks with UK Prime Minister Theresa May.
According to media reports, people in large number were lined in the streets to stage an anti-Trump rally in London, Meanwhile, several Trump supporters were also present to welcome the President.
Trump and his wife Melania watched a military ceremony together with the 92-year-old British monarch outside Windsor Castle and were due to have tea later.
The Queen has met ten of the eleven US Presidents since she took the throne. She met Harry Truman when she was princess in 1951.
Earlier in the day, he held a meeting with Theresa May during which both agreed to pursue an ambitious UK-US free trade agreement.
"We agreed today that as the UK leaves the European Union, we will pursue an ambitious UK-US free trade agreement," Theresa May told media in a joint press conference after the meeting.
After the NATO summit on Thursday, Trump had skewered May's Brexit strategy saying it could "kill" prospects for a trade deal with the United States.
Donald Trump began his four-day visit to Britain as he arrived on Thursday accompanied by US first lady Melania Trump.
