Cars that will be discontinued from April 2023

Skoda Auto India

The car company will be discontinuing the Octavia and Superb sedans from April 2023.

Renault

As the government ruled out the cars that would discontinue from April 2023, Renault's KWID did not make to the cut. Its 800 cc version has already been discontinued. 

Amaze

Honda Cars India too has also made the list as it stopped the sale of its Amaze diesel. The company last year said that its 1.5-litre-diesel engine is not ready to meet the new emissions norms.

Honda WR-V

Honda Cars India is also expected to stop production ofits WR-V along with he Gwen 4 City to make room for new products. 

Hyundai India

The Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai India, is expected to discontinue the sale of the i20 diesel. It has already discontinued the diesel variants of its  Grand i10 Nios and the Aura subcompact sedan.

Maruti Suzuki

Japanese car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India will be discontinuing its few models which will not meet the new RDE norms. As per media reports Alto 800, the Ignis and Ciaz could be the products of the models that could not be available for sales.
