Washington, United States
The Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris called her Republican rival Donald Trump "unstable" and "unfit" for the role of US president.
The US vice president, while speaking to undecided voters at a CNN town hall in Pennsylvania on October 23, said, "I do believe that Donald Trump is unstable and unfit to serve." She said she thinks Trump is a "fascist."

Harris also highlighted Trump's longest-serving chief of staff John Kelly's revelation.
Kelly told The New York Times that the former US president praised Adolf Hitler and said "he did some good things too”. Kelly said Trump also added instead of the US military, he “wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had.”

Harris raised concerns about Trump's willingness to honour American democracy as she called Kelly's statement a "911 call to the American people."
“Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally, one that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States," she added.
Trump mirrored criticism
Trump immediately responded to Harris, calling her "not fit for president" and describing Kelly's remarks "as made-up"

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed Harris’ heightened rhetoric reflects that “she is losing, and losing badly”.
Trump wrote in his post, “She is a Threat to Democracy, and not fit to be President of the United States – And her Polling so indicates!”
'No one takes her seriously'
On October 22 at a Turning Point PAC rally, Trump criticised Harris, calling her “the most radical, most incompetent, most unfit Vice President in history.”
“No one respects her. No one trusts her. No one takes her seriously," Trump further added.
