It’s only Day 6 at the Paris Olympic Games 2024, and a few things have begun taking uglier turns. Shockingly, a women’s Boxing match (in the 66 kg category) between Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who failed a sex test at last year’s World Championships, and Italy’s Angela Carini ended in absolute disgrace.
Khelif's one punch almost broke Carini's nose, with the Italian later admitting to 'never been hit that hard before'. Not only did she decide against continuing, but she also broke down into tears after the result declaration.
Meanwhile, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) faced severe criticism for their failure to ensure fairness in an Olympic sport, with questions raised over a female boxer facing an opponent whose matter of sexuality is under dispute.

Earlier, Khelif was banned from competing in a gold medal match in Delhi by the International Boxing Association for failing biochemical tests for two straight years; despite that, the IOC cleared Khelif to compete at the Paris Games.
Such was the difference between the two athletes that just one punch from Khelif broke Carini’s nose, after which she immediately signalled at her corner to abandon right away.
It only took 46 seconds before the referee declared Khelif the winner, and social media went into a frenzy, with celebrities and journalists worldwide bashing this outrageous result, with many calling it a ‘scandal’.
The Olympics allowed a biological man, Imane Khelif, to fight as a woman despite his XY chromosomes. The end result?

This is Angela Carini.
Today she had her Olympic dreams crushed after being beaten by a MALE during a WOMENS boxing match.
