Mumbai and Bangalore were defeated in their campaign opener by Delhi and Chennai respectively. The two would be eager to register their first win in IPL 2019.

Mumbai registered their first win by defeating Bangalore by 6 runs.

It was the most dramatic game as the last ball bowled by Malinga was actually a no ball but it went unnoticed by the umpires.


Bangalore would have to wait for their next game to open their account.

He too was dismissed by Bumrah.

Mumbai have got their big man as Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli departed for 46 runs while trying to hit a six. He was dismissed by none other than Jasprit Bumrah. 

Kohli has hit six boundaries in his 32-ball inning. 


For few overs, runs were raining for Bangalore as both AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli are smashing the ball out of the boundary line.

Wickets kept falling for Mumbai, otherwise the totals would have crossed 200. 


Chahal took four wickets in his four overs.   Bangalore now needs 188 runs to register their first win in IPL 2019.

Bangalore have got their man Rohit Sharma and have been successful in ending his knock for 48 runs only. 

Umesh Yadav bowled a shot delivery and Rohit hit is hard in air but could not make it reach the boundary line. 


A good catch by Mohammed Siraj give Bangalore their second wicket.

Jasprit Bumrah, who has been declared fit after sustaining an injury on his left shoulder features in the playing XI.

And Mumbai is boosted by Lasith Malinga presence.

Malinga replaced Ben Cutting while leg-spinner Mayank Markande replaced teenager Kashmir pacer Rasikh Salam.
