London Police arrest Nawaz Sharif's grandsons for assaulting demonstrator

Junaid Safdar and Zakaria Hussain, grandsons of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, were arrested by London police for punching a demonstrator outside their residence in Park Lane yesterday, ANI reported.

Junaid Safdar is the son of Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz, Zakaria Hussain is the son of Nawaz Sharif's son Hussain Nawaz.

Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, told her children to face the situation bravely in the event of her departure from London to Pakistan. 

Maryam Nawaz, along will her father and ex-PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif, reached Abu Dhabi on Friday morning after which the father-daughter is expected to be arrested by the NAB and reach Lahore, Pakistan. 

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz, on Friday morning, tweeted out a video of her father while on their way to the Abu Dhabi airport. 

The 48-second long video features Nawaz Sharif who states that he will be taken straight to the jail and that he is returning to Pakistan for the people of the country. 

Sharif mentions that his sacrifice will be for the generations to come and that such an opportunity will not come again. "Let's build the destiny of Pakistan together," he speaks in the video. 

"I'll be taken straight to jail. But I'm doing this for people of Pak, sacrificing for generations to come. Such opportunity won't come again. Let's build destiny of Pak together," Sharif noted. 

Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam Nawaz have been accused and convicted in the Avenfield reference case. While Sharif has been sentenced for 10 years, Maryam Nawaz will be imprisoned for 7 years.
