Miss England Bhasha Mukherjee is all set to again wear her stethoscope amid the coronavirus crisis. As a part of a humanitarian trip, she had traveled to India earlier this year when she started receiving messages from her former colleagues at Pilgrim Hospital in eastern England about the mounting difficulties the hospital staff was facing because of the coronavirus pandemic, after which she decided to pursue her medical career and will continue her work as a junior doctor in the UK.

Born in Kolkata, Bhasha Mukherjee and her family moved to Derby in England when she was nine-years-old.

Model turned doctor has an IQ of 146 making her officially a ‘genius’. She has two different medical degrees- one in medical sciences and one in medicine and surgery.

Miss India competition
In 2015, she was approached to be a part of Miss India competition. However, she had to turn it down because she was in the middle of her first year in medical school and didn't want to give her studies up due to the competition.
