Former Kerala chief minister VS Achuthanandan is 94 years old now. He is also the founder of Communist Party of India and has been in active politics for 79 years now.

Parkash Singh Badal

Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former chief minister of Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal, has now turned 90. He has now completed 70 years in politics.

Badal, an 11-time MLA, transformed the panthic party, with focus firmly on Sikhs, into a Punjabi party that fielded 11 Hindus in the 2012 polls.

Tarun Gogoi
