From 'RRR' to 'The Batman': Big movies/shows to look out for in March 2022

Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Jhund' is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer. The movie is helmed by Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, who shot to fame with his Marathi film 'Sairat'. He makes his Bollywood debut with 'Jhund'. 

Ajay Devgn is making his OTT debut with Disney+Hotstar 'Rudra'. Rajesh Mapuskar directorial is an official Hindi remake of the hit BBC series 'Luther', starring Idris Elba.

The gripping story takes us into the complex life of DCP Rudra Veer Singh played by Devgn. In the dark trailer, he is busy uncovering mysteries and is fighting to find out the truth. while his personal life is in turmoil. 

A ZEE5 Original series, produced by Manor Rama Pictures, 'Sutliyan' is a heartwarming story of a family where the adult children return to their family home in Bhopal, the city where they grew up, weeks before Diwali. The series is releasing on March 4. 

Prabhas starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ is another big blockbuster that come out this month. 

The film got promoted with the introduction of the Metaverse in addition to the traditional forms. It is reported that 'Radhe Shyam' is the first movie in the world to offer people the chance to create their own avatars in the Metaverse. With distinctive avatars, the users will be able to explore the world or 'Radhe Shyam'.

Ryan Reynolds starrer 'The Adam project' is a sci-fi movie that is all set to release on Netflix on March 11.

After accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-travelling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self on a mission to save the future, Netflix synopsis reads. 

Last month, Akshay Kumar another masala entertainer ‘Bachchhan Paandey' was released, so whoever missed the movie at the theatre, can watch the movie this weekend on Amazon Prime. 

In the movie, Kumar is playing the role of a deadly gangster.

After hitting many roadblocks, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is scheduled for release on March 18. The film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in important roles, is set in the backdrop of 1920s north India under the colonial rule of Britain. It is a fictionalised account of Telugu tribal leaders Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR). 
 

After a massive success of season 1 makers spared no time in working on its second season. The most-awaited series has recently finished filming after a tough year with multiple setbacks due to COVID-19.

The upcoming season of the show will focus on Lord Anthony Bridgerton, Daphne's elder brother, and his journey to find love. The storyline is based on author Julia Quinn’s 'The Viscount Who Loved Me'.

The show will release on March 25.

Oscar Isaac's limited series 'Moon Knight' will premiere on March 30 on Disney Plus. ''Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector, is a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu,'' the official synopsis reads.

Robert Pattinson starrer 'The Batman' is due to release on March 4, 2022. 'The Batman' will follow Bruce Wayne in the second year of his crime-fighting campaign in Gotham City.

The movie will see Pattinson approaching the caped crusader's character in an entirely different way and the actor will be backed by a supporting cast that includes Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Real, Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
