Lakshadweep Lok Sabha elections 2024: The Indian National Congress won the lone Lok Sabha seat in Lakshadweep.

As part of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, Lakshadweep went to polls on April 19, which was the first phase of elections. 

As per the Election Commission's data, Lakshadweep recorded a decrease in the voter turnout from 2019 Lok Sabha polls, which was 85.21 per cent to 83.88 per cent.

The Union territory has only one Lok Sabha seat. Mohammed Faizal Pp from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) won the elections in Lok Sabha 2019 polls by securing 22,851 votes.

Lakshadweep Key Candidates

- The Indian National Congress (INC) has handed the ticket to Muhammed Hamdulla Sayeed from Lakshadweep in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

- NCP (Sharat Pawar) has fielded Mohammad Faisal whereas NCP (Ajit Pawar) has handed the thicket to TP Yusuf from Lakshadweep.
