Tanushree opened up on Nana Patekar harassing her ten years ago on the sets of a film. She has now revealed that even director Vivek Agnihotri misbehaved with her in another film.

Tanushree Dutta is on fire.

After accusing actor Nana Patekar of harassing her ten years ago on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’, she identifies another high-profile name from the industry who sexually harassed her.

She accused director Vivek Agnihotri of inappropriate behaviour on the sets of his 2005 film, ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’. She revealed that the filmmaker asked her to strip and dance on the set. It was Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty who stood up for her at that time.

In an interview to DNA, Tanushree recounted the incident: “This guy (Vivek Agnihotri) wanted me to give cues to an actor (Irrfan Khan). It was an actor’s close-up. It was not even my shot. I was not even going to be in the shot. It was the actor’s close-up and he had to just look at something and give expressions. This director, he told me jao jaake kapde utaar ke naacho, usko cues do (go strip and dance, give (Irrfan) cues’.”

It was embarrassing for Tanushree who then said that it was Irrfan and Suneil who put a stop to this. She said that Irrfan assured Vivek that he could act without her dancing in front of him. Suneil who was also present on the set immediately spoke up and told Vivek that if cues were required then he could give them.

Vivek Agnihotri has of late developed an image for being right-wing and is often seen getting in altercations with celebs on social media.

Tanushree has opened a can of worms and lent her two cents in the #MeToo campaign that has taken the world by a storm. The movement gained momentum after Hollywood celebrities came out in support of women who accused men in power of sexually abusing and harassing them in lieu of work.

While talking about Nana Patekar, Tanushree was quoted as saying: “Everyone knows about Nana Patekar that he has always been disrespectful towards women. People in the industry know about his background... that he has beaten actresses, he has molested them, his behaviour with women has always been crude but no publication has printed anything about it.”

Nana responded to the allegations and said he is contemplating legal action against the actress.

Meanwhile, what has been shocking that not many actors from the Hindi film industry have spoken on the matter. When Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan were asked about this during ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ trailer launch, they avoided commenting on it.
