Days after Tanushree Dutta went on record and accused Nana Patekar on the sets of 'Horn Ok Pleassss', the actress in an explosive interview to DNA revealed that how filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had asked her to strip and dance to give cues to Irrfan Khan on sets of the film 'Chocolate' and how co-stars Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan had come to her rescue back then.
Now, the associate director of 'Chocolate' has come forward and provided a fresh new perspective on the incident and claimed that Tanushree, as a debutant, had no knowledge of cues and camera angles.

In a long post on Facebook, Sattyajit Gazmer stated that Tanushree was shooting for a song sequence which had her drenched in rain. The director reveals that how Tanushree kept missing her cues and argued during a shot that featured her back and Irrfan Khan's closeup and it was Gazmer who asked her to take off her bathrobe and "shoot in film costume which she was anyways wearing under the bathrobe."
Gazmer recalls that since the shot was taking too much time, Suniel Shetty took a jibe and said he would give cues to Irrfan. Urging the media to use its common sense, Gazmer said, " In fact, Suneil sir sarcastically asked if he can give the cue. What was actually a jibe in good spirit by Suneil sir is being used as if there was something wrong with our command. I ask all media how is it possible to shoot in a Bathrobe? Please media tell me how would you ask a girl to shoot without a bathrobe? Wouldn’t we ask her to remove it before the shot? How can Suneil Shetty or any other experienced actor in right senses ever offer to give dance cues of a heroine? Is it possible to say something like that unless it’s a sarcasm?"

Gazmer said Tanushree was a rank newcomer whom he had personally recommended to Agnihotri for the film. She was untrained and Agnihotri's wife Pallavi Joshi took personal care and trained her for the film along with actress Sushama Reddy.
Gazmer concluded by saying, "This incident has no gender bias or any harassment or any bad behavior. It is not about man vs woman. Everything is not feminism. It’s about work. About how two professionals talk on a film set. This is how anyone in this world will shoot and even if these media people are asked to shoot they will also ask the heroine to take off outside clothes and shoot in continuity costume. Even if a hero was there same command would be given to him also. In this case, I don’t know what is the ultimate purpose of Tanushree but if she wants I am willing to sit face to face with her and repeat minute by minute account with her for media to check."
Incidentally, Sushama Reddy too shared GAzmer's long post and said, "I know Satya Gazmer to be as scrupulous as they come...I just can't tolerate unnecessary slander, given I was part of the project...hence vouching for what he is saying..(sic)"
Meanwhile, after maintaining a stoic silence on the matter, Agnihotri has now issued a statement saying that Dutta's allegations were intended to gain publicity. The filmmaker tweeted an image of the press release.
