“That chapter is over. Now, we have Diljit, Varun and Arjun in the film. Varun and Arjun are best of friends, and Diljit is fantastic at comedy. So, I think this makes for a good and interesting combination,” Boney Kapoor has told PTI.

In a different interview with Indian Express, Boney confirmed that the film will start by the end of this year.

No Entry was a star-packed comedy movie that revolves around Kishen (Anil Kapoor), who is the owner of a newspaper agency and is married to Kaajal, a housewife who continuously suspects him of having multiple affairs. One day, Kishan is stuck in a big problem because of his friend Prem (Salman Khan), who sets him up with a hooker. Kishan's employee, Shekhar (Fardeen Khan), also gets embroiled in trouble with Kishan, and both are stuck under the same circumstances. The movie starred Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, Celina Jaitley and Bipasha Basu.

When asked about No Entry 2 plot details, Boney refused to share the concept saying he had fears that the idea may get copied by other filmmakers again.

“Earlier, the concept had spilled over and some films had copied it, or rather ‘adapted’ it. I don’t want to name the film, so it is better not to speak about it. I used to brag about the unusual concept we had but then I found out there was another film that was made with the same concept,” he said.

Why Anil Kapoor is upset with Boney over No Entry 2?

The veteran filmmaker has confirmed that No Entry 2 will have an entirely new cast. And, this is what has angered his little brother Anil. In an interview with Zoom, Boney shared that Anil wanted to be part of the sequel, but unfortunately, he had to snub him as there was no space in the movie.

"It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did. Varun and Arjun are great friends. Their chemistry could come out in the story, and Diljit is massive today. He has a great fan following. I wanted to make it relevant in today’s time. That’s why I did this casting. In the process, my brother is still not talking properly. I hope it all gets sorted out soon. Let’s see," the producer told Zoom.
