'Dus Ka Dum': Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan to share screen space for the first time

With reality TV shows gaining popularity and serving as an important platform for film promotions, superstar Kamal Haasan will now make an appearance on Dus Ka Dum -- a reality show hosted by Salman Khan. 

Kamal will share screen space with Salman Khan for the first time as part of his upcoming film promotions for Vishwaroopam 2. 

The Hindi version of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 will be presented by Rohit Shetty and Anil Ambani-led Reliance Entertainment on Dus Ka Dum.

For those who don’t know Salman and Kamal share another show -- Bigg Boss. While the Hindi version is hosted by Salman for the Hindi-speaking audience, the Tamil version is taken care of by Kamal. 

The first from the franchise, Vishwaroopam released in 2013 and charted a controversy when it was banned all over India. Then, Salman and other stars had strongly appealed to fans to watch the film. He had said, “Hope each n every fan of his supports him like I am doing n want all my fan to fully support him. Bhool gaye kya ek doojeh ke liyeh.”

Written, directed and produced by Kamal, Vishwaroopam 2 also stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat and Waheeda Rehman. The trailer of the film was released in June.

Vishwaroopam 2 is scheduled to release on August 10.
