Actor Prakash Raj found himself in a spot recently after addressing an audience in Bengaluru. An advocate filed a complaint against him for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments by “disrespecting the cow.”
The complainant advocate identified as N Kiran is now urging the court to file a case under three sections for hurting religious sentiments and speaking disrespectfully about the cow. He alleges that the actor mockingly spoke about the use of cow urine and said that people should start washing their clothes in cow urine and cow dung.
N Kiran is urging the court to ask the Hanumanthnagar police to initiate action against the actor.
The court is yet to pass an order to file an FIR on the merit of the complaint. The case will soon be up for hearing.
