Actor Gurucharan Singh Missing Case: Police visit Taarak Mehta set, question actor’s co-stars

It's been more than two weeks since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh went missing. Despite the rigorous search operation, there are no updates on the actor's whereabouts. Delhi Police continue to put all their efforts into finding the actor, and as per recent media reports, police officers recently visited the set of TMKOC in Mumbai.
As per Indian news channel News18, Delhi Police visited the sets of the show in Mumbai and questioned the actor's former co-stars who were in touch with him.
Reportedly, they questioned actor Samay Shah, Jennifer Mistry, Mandar Chandwadkar and show’s producer, Asit Modi.

Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’s Head of Production Sohail Ramani told the publication, “As a part of their investigation, Delhi police had visited our set. They went back assured that there were no dues from our end towards Gurucharan Singh. We continue to pray for his well-being and hope he is found soon.”
A person from the production team shared more details about the interrogation. “This week, Delhi police visited our sets and spoke with the actors who were in touch with Gurucharan Singh. Everyone has co-operated well with the police. Also, there were some rumours related to Gurucharan Singh’s payments being due from the production house. But, the police found that the payment of the actor was cleared long ago,” the source said.

Singh, who is well-known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi, went missing on April 22 from Delhi, after he left his father's home to catch the flight to Mumbai.
Earlier, CCTV footage showed Singh in Delhi's Palam area at 9.14 pm on April 22. While investigating, police also suspected that the Indian actor likely planned his disappearance.
A police source has said that the actor left his phone in Delhi's Palam area and ''moved out of'' the city. It was also reported that he was going through a financial crisis.
