At an event, Abhijeet Bhattacharya spoke about how he 'made superstars with his voice' as he took a dig at Shah Rukh Khan.

In what be called a classic case of ‘sour grapes’, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya took a massive dig at superstar Shah Rukh Khan as he hinted at himself being the reason behind these actors who are today enjoying the privileges of stardom to be at this stage.

As Shah Rukh Khan gets ready for the release of his next film ‘Zero’ with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, Abhijeet at an event said that it was his voice that made Shah Rukh a ‘superstar’. Abhijeet was present at an event alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, Jubin Nautiyal, Neeti Mohan and Sonam Nigam.

Abhijeet said, “I made superstars with my voice. Till the time I sang for Shah Rukh Khan, he was a rockstar. When I stopped singing for him - and I stopped singing for him - he came down to Lungi Dance.”

Abhijeet has sung for Shah Rukh in several films before he stopped getting work in the industry.

The singer also claimed to have been hurt when in films ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’, “the entire bunch of spot boy and technicians were included but the singers.”

We are waiting for Shah Rukh to respond to this. Wonder what he thinks of Abhijeet’s dig!
