Several US government websites in Ohio and Maryland, including that of Ohio governor John Kasich, were hacked on Sunday.
The hacked websites displayed pro-IS messages.
A message posted on the website of Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich said, "You will be held accountable Trump, you and all your people for every drop of blood flowing in Muslim countries."
The message ended with, “I love the Islamic State”.

The Ohio governor’s website was back up on Sunday after being taken offline for several hours.
The message on Kasich's website also played an Islamic call to prayer.
The hacking was carried out by a group calling itself Team System DZ.
A website for Howard County, Maryland was also affected.
