The snowstorm also caused several flight delays.

Nearly 30 Ryanair flights have been cancelled due to runway closure.

According to media reports, heavy snowfall is expected till Friday.

Some experts are forecasting conditions to improve in coming days as the snowstorm now heads eastward.
