Mass shooting at the office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris by two Islamist gunmen who claimed they belonged to Al-Qaeda in Yemen.

Algerian Jihadist tries to attack two churches in Villejuif but fails.

June 26, 2015

An Islamist delivery driver, reportedly with linked to IS, beheaded a man in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier before ramming a company van into cylinders at a gas factory in an attempt to blow up the building.

November 13-14, 2015

Multiple shootings and suicide bombings culminated into the single deadliest attack in French history.
A concert, a football  stadium, several bars and restaurants were targeted.

IS claimed responsibility.

President Francois Hollande called it an “act of war”.

A truck rammed into crowds celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. A Tunisian man was involved in the attack.

 A soldier near the Louvre museum opened fire on a man who tried to enter the museum with a machete. The man was reportedly shouting "Allahu Akbar".

A policeman was injured in Garges-les-Gonesse by an attacker who was later shot dead at the Orly Airport.

April 20, 2017

One police officer was killed and two wounded in a shooting on Paris's Champs Élysées, police said, just days ahead of France's presidential election.

IS claimed responsibility for the attack.
