Three wounded in Zurich Islamic centre shooting

A man opened fire at people praying inside an Islamic centre in Zurich, injuring three people late Monday evening. 

The gunman, around 30 years of age according to witnessess, was dressed in dark clothes and a dark wool cap. 

After opening fire, the man fled the building. 

The police said a body was found nearby but that they have not yet been able to determine if it was linked to the shooting, Reuters reported. 

Two of the three men - aged 30, 35 and 56 years - were seriously injured, Zurich city police said.

People told Reuters the Islamic centre is used as a mosque, often by Somalis. 

Police cordoned off the area and deployed about 20 policemen at the site.
