Lufthansa flight 441 to Frankfurt, Germany from Texas was rerouted to John F Kennedy International Airport due to a bomb threat, officials said.
The flight landed safely and was taken to an isolated area of the John F Kennedy airport around 8:30 pm local time, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman said.
The 530 people onboard disembarked safely and no injuries were reported, Coleman said.
He also said the plane was set to be searched and daily airport functions were not hampered.
