UK Prime Minister Theresa May received support from prominent Brexiteers on Friday, a day after four ministers resigned from the cabinet over the draft Brexit deal,

Environment Secretary Michael Gove and International Trade Secretary Liam Fox confirmed on Friday about their intention to stay with May.

Asked Friday if he had confidence in May, Gove said: "I absolutely do. It's absolutely vital that we focus on getting the right deal in the future."

After the environment minister in the British cabinet Michael Gove expressed his assent to remain in the government, other ministers Liam Fox, Chris Grayling, Penny Mordaunt and Andrea Leadsom also said they would stay in British Prime Minister Theresa May`s government.

"Gove, Fox, Grayling, Mordaunt and Leadsom have agreed collectively to stay and will work together "to get this in a better place" says a (very good) source," Tim Shipman, political editor of the Sunday Times, said in a tweet.

Despite the support from Gove and Fox, May could yet face a vote of no confidence from her own MPs.

At least 48 Conservative MPs are required to submit letters of no confidence in the party leader to trigger a vote and 21 have publicly confirmed they had done so.

If May wins such a vote, she cannot be challenged for 12 months.
