US President Barack Obama trolled Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as he read out the latter's mean tweets directed towards him on ABC's late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

To one of Trump's menacing tweets about Obama in which he had said that Obama will go down as the “worst president in the history of the United States”, Obama said that he will at least “go down as a president”.

Kimmel, the show's host, took a jab at Trump saying that Obama must have taken time from “rigging the November 8 election” to come on the show. Trump has time and again alleged that the elections are rigged against him.

Obama also revealed to being woken up in the late hours of night to deal with emergencies. But he jokingly said that he does not reach for his smartphone in the wee hours, unlike Trump who Obama indirectly said “tweets at 3 am about people who insult him”.
