Niagara Falls has become a spectacular sight as ice and snow cover the majority of the region.

The falls looks frozen when it is actually an illusion created by ice and snow covering the falls.

After Arctic blast hit parts of US and Canada, authorities warned the locals against a chilling winter that could even induce frostbites.

The freezing weather does not seem to deter tourists from thronging to get a view of the falls in a brand new avatar.
