India-Sri Lanka three-Test match series was packed up with full drama with Lankans halting the play citing smog as the reason, then Indian Skipper Virat Kohli losing his cool and eventually throwing away his bat in frustration.
With the third match ending in a draw and India winning the series with 1-0, it is being assumed that the upcoming ODI series between the two teams will be played in a 'gentlemanly manner', until former Sri Lankan batsman-turned-commentator Russel Arnold tweeted his predictions over the three-match series starting December 10.

With an aim to boost his players, who haven't given any fighting total to the hosts India, Arnold wrote; "So Test series ends 1-0 and I can promise you the ODI's wont end 5-0 like it did a few months ago !!!,"

The situation soon tuned embarrassing for Arnold after former Indian batsman replied in response to his prediction. "Sure Russel, it won’t in a 3 match series. This prediction won’t fail,'' Laxman tweeted.

Laxman was soon given thumbs up by his fans and followers for an apt reply to the prediction made.

Earlier in the year, India whitewashed Sri Lanka 9-0 (3 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20I) across all-formats.
