Team India defeated Papua New Guinea by 10 wickets in the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

It was an easy win for Team India in a low scoring encounter as Indian bowlers destroyed Papua's batting order restricting them at a paltry 67 all out.

Indian pacer Ankul Roy claimed his career-best figures as he took 5 wickets in 6.5 overs. For his spectacular spell, he was awarded player of the match.

Earlier, India had won the toss and opted to bowl first at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
