Indian Premier League (IPL) star batsman Sanju Samson on Tuesday was ruled out of India's A squad for the England tour after he failed the Yo-Yo (fitness) Test.
However, his replacement has not been named yet. But there are reports that Mumbai batsman Ishan Kishan is being considered for his role and will be coached by former India skipper Rahul Dravid.
According to media reports, Samson's score in the test was below the prescribed 16.1 mark.
Samson was part of the India 'A' squad which will take part in a triangular series involving hosts England Lions with the third team being West Indies 'A'.
The India 'A' tour of England will begin with an ODI tri-series against England Lions and West Indies A, from June 22.
Sanju created his identity as a capable batsman in the recently concluded IPL where he scored 441 runs for 15 games at a strike-rate of 137.81 for  Rajasthan.
In fact, he was the most prolific scorer for the franchise after Jos Buttler played an integral part in helping the team get into the knockouts this season.
