Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his Jharkhand teammates were safely evacuated after a fire broke out at the Delhi hotel they were staying in.

The fire broke out at a store in Dwarka's Welcome hotel complex.

Because of the fire, the second semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy between Bengal and Jharkhand -- which is what Dhoni was in Delhi to play for -- was postponed to Saturday.
