2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20, which is hosted in the West Indies from 9 to 24 November 2018, gets underway.

It is the sixth edition of the ICC Women's World Twenty20, and the second hosted by the West Indies

The tournament starts with a triple-header of matches at Guyana National Stadium in Providence, with New Zealand taking on India in the opener.

Australia will then face Pakistan before the hosts West Indies play Bangladesh.

In 2017, it was confirmed by ICC that this would be the first T20 tournament that uses the Umpire Decision Review System, with one review per side.

After a ten-nation round-robin group stage and semi-finals, the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda will stage the final on November 24.

Having won three tournaments, Australia are the most successful team at the World Twenty20.
