3rd T20I: India win toss, elect to bowl first against Sri Lanka

Indian stand-in-skipper Rohit Sharma on Sunday won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I match at the Wankhede Stadium.

The hosts, who have an unassailable 2-0 lead, have made two changes to their playing XI, eyeing a complete whitewash against the Lankans. 

All-rounder Washington Sundar has made his T20I debut today and paceman Mohammed Siraj come into the side, replacing Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah. Both the players have been rested.

For Sri Lanka, all-rounders Danushka Gunathilaka and Dasun Shanaka have replaced Chaturanga de Silva and the injured Angelo Mathews, who has been ruled out after injuring his hamstring in the second T20.

Sri Lanka captain Thisara Perera said he was hoping that his team would their tour with a consolation victory, having lost the Test and one-day series to the hosts.
