The Indian women's cricket team held a press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon.
"It is the just the beginning of good times for women's cricket," Indian captain Mithali Raj said.
She repeated her demand that the BCCI start a women's IPL.
"If something like this is started in India, it will help players in getting exposure but it's up to the BCCI," she said.
Indian women's cricket team lost their final match to England on July 23 at Lord's cricket ground, London.
"Playing at Lord's is dream for every cricketer. Playing final there is dream come true. There was pressure but I enjoyed it." all rounder Jhulan Goswami said.
Indian cricket team stunned everyone with its brilliant performance during the series. However, England still emerged as the winning champion in the series.
"When you play winning a toss is never in your hands. Batting first or second doesn't matter. We chased the target quite well" said team player Poonam Raut.
The team had landed in Mumbai in the early hours of Wednesday, returning home to a rapturous welcome.
